Never underestimate yourself
For even the smallest seed
Can break through rock
With a fragile root
And grow a tree
Never underestimate yourself
For even the smallest seed
Can break through rock
With a fragile root
And grow a tree
In the expanse of gentle
Releasing
All that we were
All that we had
And all we created
Together
I am an arc in the heavens
A dancing, vivid refraction
And reflection
Between
The rain of my heart
And
My beaming soul
May a river of love
Cascade through your being
May your soul grow
In the lush landscape of peace
Your words are a tuning fork
Sounding the vibration
That harmonizes my heart
Hey Friends! If you enjoy my art and writing, now is the perfect time to send me some love. I am running a fundraiser through my Etsy shop for my interactive art installation, Varanasi Sage, which I’m showing in Center Camp at Burning Man this year. It’s a dream come true, but it requires updates and repairs because I’m showing it in a completely new way.
The gift for a donation is a brand new collection of my poetry and a 3 inch sticker. I love this new collection, which contains some of my favorites from the past few years mixed with prose to create a narrative arc. This is my first collection of poetry, and I’m excited to share it with you as a gift for donating to my art fundraiser! I am only offering these items during the fundraiser and that only goes until August 24.
Your support means the world to me, and it truly makes a difference.
Everything in my shop will go towards this project, and you can also help by sharing this with your friends. I hope you will join me in this journey! The links to the Varanasi Sage fundraiser and my shop homepage are below. Thanks for reading and have a wonderful day. ![]()
Longing for you is a subtle chord
Played in the background of my heart
Delicate and gentle notes
Expanding as I breathe
Softly filling my aura with a love song
You are as deep and wide as the ocean
Free and spacious as the sky
More luminous than a thousand suns
And lovelier than wildflowers dancing with bees
Flying with purpose, of service
Protecting sacred Life
The Spirit’s natural flight
Brought to the edge
Of existence
By humans poisoning human food.
But today — she soars
Above the ridge
Of the rescue effort
Made by people who joined
The Spirit’s natural flight
Stunning against green watercolor
Blanketed with gold petals
Sleeping dinosaur rocks are
Tucked into bed dreaming
Of when they moved here and
This high desert
Housed giant ferns and
Mushroom trees
On the ocean front
Collectors of Life
Beacons of energy
Earthen antennas of
Spirit and personality
Ancient mysteries
And hidden wisdom
A gathering of relatives
A soulful congregation
