I’m stoked to show Varanasi Sage at @onelovefestnow next week! Here’s a photo from 2019 when Timo Beckwith and I created the lotus flower for Burning Man: Metamorphoses. Creating the piece stretched me in ways I couldn’t have anticipated and made me a better person and artist ✨ At this next showing, we have a completely new pedestal built by @tropo_musica which brings my original vision to life! I love collaborating on art. In reality, all art is a collaboration because inspiration comes from all facets of life.

I’ve finally warmed up to ice plant. Over the years, I haven’t particularly liked it because it’s invasive. But I have to admit, when it’s in bloom, it’s a sight to behold. Plus, it does a good job keeping the cliffs from eroding.

My Grandfather’s Sky

Happy Caturday and Happy Beltane from my Manx cat, whose ancestors came from the Isle of Man where Beltane was widely celebrated. Wishing you a beautiful day on this halfway mark between spring and summer. May it be filled with whatever brings you vitality and passion ✨🌱✨💚✨🌿✨

Throwback nearly a decade ago to when Jackie and I visited an island off the Yucatán with a massive art installation. The magic of exploration is in the unexpected treasures. Never stop exploring.

We had rain yesterday! Rain this time of year is rare in Central California, and we are in a drought year. So I enjoyed each drop as a sweet blessing and prayer answered, overjoyed to garden during the little storm with birds singing rainy hymns from every tree branch. Ordinary miracles are my favorite. Happy plants, happy Buddha, happy gardener.
